To make communication easier, faster and more effective I’m pleased to advise you that we have introduced a new service - School Gateway from Schoolcomms. This will enable us to share information such as lesson timetables, achievements and assessment results with parents more quickly via e-mail, text, online and smartphone app. We will still contact home directly if we have any concerns regarding your child’s attendance or behaviour, and the Personal Organiser will still be an important method of communication.
In addition to improving communication links with school, using the app will save the school the cost of sending text messages and so it would be helpful if you would download the app onto your smartphone.
Visit the website: www.schoolgateway.com and click on ‘New User’. You will receive a text message with a PIN number. Use this PIN to login to the School Gateway.
If you have a smartphone, please download the School Gateway from your app store (Android and iPhone). The app shows the same information as the website plus you can send app messages to the school for free – this will also save the school money when we send text messages.
