Accelerated Reader https://login.renaissance.com/ is an online tool that allows year 7 and year 8 students to select challenging and entertaining reads. Year 7 and year 8 students will complete a STAR test at the beginning of each term and a ZPD (Zone of Proximal Development) will be calculated to help students choose books which are appropriate for their reading ability. The programme then offers quizzes on each book, so that teachers can monitor reading progress. Please ask your english teacher for your user name and password.

Maths

Modern Foreign Languages

Memrise and Quizlet allow students to independently learn and practice important vocabulary that they need to know for their language learning. They work by using interactive exercises, games, and spaced repetition techniques to help students remember and recall words more effectively.

Students should access the correct course using the link provided by their teacher on Google Classroom to join the class and be able to access the platform advert-free. They will need to create their own account using their school email.
