360 Tour of Allerton High School

Allerton High School is a state-of-the-art learning environment that was built in September 2008. The new building has been designed around a central street running the length of the school, with five curriculum pods, where students access specialist teaching and learning experiences. The five pods comprise: Science & Technology; English & Modern Foreign Languages; Maths, Business & ICT; PE, Art, Music & Drama; History, Geography, RE & PSHE. Our accommodation is designed to allow “anytime anywhere” access for our wireless-enabled equipment. Students can access ICT-enriched experiences throughout their learning day with us, in a variety of formats.

The school is a vibrant and pleasant environment which enhances the learning experience of our students. We encourage an environment of mutual respect for each other as well as the building and facilities. Our external facilities, with exterior landscaping, include: running track, tennis courts, basketball courts and football and rugby pitches that are to Sports England standards.

Accessibility - Allerton High School complies to DDA and Building Regulations. The school has a DDA compliant lift to access all floors within the school with evacuation chairs and refuge points on all floors in case of an emergency evacuation.

The school has four disabled parking bays near the main entrance and all footpaths are DDA compliant.
