Year 11 Summer 2026 Results Arrangements

Year 11 students can collect their results from school between 830am and 1030am on Thursday 20 August.

When students open their envelopes they understandably focus on their grades so we are sending key advice and reminders today.

Students should go to the school hall (the outer doors will be open).

Post-16 plans

Students with a conditional offer from Allerton High for Post-16 will receive a white envelope attached to their results explaining what they need to do about confirming their place. It is important that they check this before they leave school, in case they need a meeting.

Students will need to accept (or decline) their place via the box in the school hall or via email Miss Menzer (menzen@allertonhigh.org.uk) by 11:30am.

Students with offers from other colleges or Post 16 providers should receive instructions about taking in their results and confirming their place.

Some local colleges will be present on results day, as well as our Post-16 team and Year 11 team, in order to help students with any queries about next steps.

Exam re-mark enquiries

There will be a desk in the hall tomorrow where students can check how close they are to the next grade up, if they missed entry for one of their Post-16 courses.

Student support                                  

We wanted to re-iterate that if students have any concerns about their results or their plans for next year, they should see Miss Hepworth or Tina Convy before leaving school. They can also email on year11@allertonhigh.org.uk during that day if they prefer.

 

Year 10 Summer 2026 Results Arrangements

Year 10 students will receive their GCSE RE result on Thursday 20 August via the student’s school email address by Midday.

Students who sat a Home Language qualification will receive their results for this in the same email.

We cannot email results to a private email account or a parent/carer’s email address. We cannot issue results to students over the phone.

If a student is upset or is struggling to find their email they can ring school.

Requesting re-marks

When school re-opens in September we will speak to students who are close to the boundary for the next grade up about whether they want to request a re-mark. They do not need to do anything in the summer holidays as the re-mark deadline isn’t until the end of September
