How is the course externally examined?

At the end of the two year course, students will sit 3 exams which are all equally weighted.

Component 1: Psychology past to present

Component 2: Investigating behaviour

Component 3: Implications in the real world

How is the course internally assessed?

Assessments reflect how students are assessed in their terminal exam, this includes a variety of question styles and lengths.

In year 1:

In Term 1 students are assessed on component 1 and component 2, including a mock in December covering both components.

In Term 2 students are assessed on component 1 and component 2

In Term 3 students are assessed in a mock exam, covering all content from year 12.

In year 2:

In Term 1 students are assessed in a mock exam, covering all content from year 12 and year 13.

In Term 2 students are assessed on content from all taught components.
