Key Stage 3

All students follow the National Curriculum for Mathematics and have the opportunity to use and develop a variety of skills in number, algebra, measures and statistics. Throughout the course students are given opportunities to work in pairs and groups to develop their thinking and problem solving skills and are encouraged to be resilient learners who are not afraid to make mistakes.

Key Stage 4

All KS4 students are studying for the Edexcel GCSE Linear course (code: 1MA1) at higher or foundation Level. Students will study a variety of skills that build upon what they have learnt in KS3 with an emphasis on developing an in depth understanding of mathematical concepts and drawing on this understanding to tackle problems in a logical manner.
